Each year Zach and I write a happy birthday letter as a way to share our birthday wishes with our children and as a gift they can look back on to remember these times in their lives and the memories we made together. I believe the greatest gift we give our children is our love and time. I hope the very happy birthday wishes we write them each year become an extra special 18th birthday gift!

To my beautiful daughter Britt,
Wow what a year!!! I am so blessed to be your Dad. You have grown so much as a person and have truly gone from a little princess and darling daughter to a young woman. The teenage years will be here before we know it and here I am, still your old man!
Our relationship has grown so much. I feel so much closer to you than ever before my sweet girl. You may not be a Daddy’s girl yet, but you are on your way!
Our bond brings me much joy and helps me be a better person because I want you to know you deserve the best kind of love from your future husband.
Your love of football has been awesome. You know I love football and sharing that with you has meant so much to me. It is THE best thing. We had a wonderful year as Seminoles together!
I can’t wait to see how your future fandom turns out! Watching games together is one of my favorite things in the world and I’m sure as you turn another year older you’ll only be more and more of a football fan 🙂
I am so interested to see how tall you are. You are growing so fast. Who knows with mom’s height and my height so different, but you sure are growing fast this past year.
You may not be little anymore but you are still a special and wonderful daughter and will always be my little girl. You are becoming an awesome young girl and an amazing person. You strive to do the right thing and our days with you are always a good time filled with laughter and you are so fun!
It can be a little bit sad to think of you as an independent woman someday but you know your mom and I will be there for you every single day – whenever you need us.
I love, love, love how excited you are about the land. Going out there and exploring with you has been awesome. I can’t wait until we get out there and live there permanently and all the wonderful memories we will have.
I know you are going to love it. I am super pumped about the treehouse spot as well. I know you are going to do a great job helping plan and build it.
You are my beautiful girl but you are also so tough and strong and aren’t afraid of hard work! I love it and it will serve you far in life!
You truly are an amazing daughter. I cannot describe how proud I am to be your Dad. I love you so much!
