With Casey and I being pregnant together it got a little tricky to plan all of our showers! We wanted to both be able to be at each other’s showers and we both wanted to host one for the other too!
She and Courtney hosted a family shower for Leo at Casey’s house so we had it pretty early (the weekend of Easter actually) so that way Casey could handle all that is involved in hosting a shower! I def didn’t mind doing it a little earlier in my pregnancy either…I had a lot of energy at that point and didn’t feel so yucky and miserable yet 😉
When I first got the invitation I was really excited! SUCH a cute theme and the shower really turned out super adorable!!! I told y’all I thought Casey might be a fellow party planner after how awesome she did with the gender reveal party 😉 I think we’re both rubbing off on Courtney too!

If y’all know me…I LOVE sprinkles. On ice cream, on cupcakes, on cookies! Sprinkles make everything better 🙂 So, of course, they had a Sprinkle Bar set up!

At the last shower Courtney and Casey hosted for me Casey came up with a super unique shower game of “pin the sperm on the egg” remember? This time around all the guests picked pieces of cut up pictures of Zach and I and created what they think Leo will look like. SO AWESOME! I love, love, loved it 🙂 And it was funny because Mrs. Charlotte picked all of Zach’s features for our baby (as would be expected since she’s his mama) but she picked my nose hahaha. Classic 😉 All the combos were hilarious and it was such a unique shower game idea! And it’s especially cute since we don’t know the sex of the baby as the guests also picked either blue or pink accessories!
It’s so fun that Payton is old enough to attend showers now! I have had several people ask me about Britt and why I don’t bring her to showers. Um. I want to RELAX at showers and just ENJOY myself! Britt is def not old enough yet to where I’d be able to do that and have her with me! She’d be adorable but I’m sure once she’s older she’ll be much easier to handle too 😉 If Kye were a girl I’d totally bring him though! I think the 4-5 year old range is probably the perfect time! Payton was such a joy!
Since it was a family shower let’s play a fun game where I say how each guest is related 😉 I know I’ve had many of y’all ask before about this HUGE family I’m part of haha!
Payton is Zach’s sister’s (Courtney) daughter
Jolee is Zach’s first cousin (Mrs. Charlotte and Jolee’s mom, Cheryl, are half sisters…Mema is both of their mom)

Our family all loves Aunt Mary!
She is related because she was married to Big Daddy’s (Zach’s grandfather…Rusty’s dad) brother who has passed away.
Gabi and Aunt Debby
Aunt Debby is married to Steven who is Mr. Rusty’s brother. Gabi has been dating her son, Cole, for several years!
Dawnee and Kelsi…Dawnee is like my go-to helper at church when needed as she sits on our same pew 😉 Told y’all that we have plenty of family at our church too! And to explain how Dawnee and Kelsi are related is really funny! Dawnee’s mother is Big Daddy’s sister. And Dawnee’s father is actually Little Mama’s brother!!! Small world right?!?! Kelsi is, obviously, Dawnee’s daughter 🙂
Another fun thing we did was every one filled out little slips of paper with different well wishes for Leo! It was neat because a lot of the questions were different so we had a lot of fun reading all the responses out loud.
Some were very sweet and sentimental, and several were funny 🙂 I love things like that because I kept them all to be able to pack away for Leo someday!

The shower was all so cute and so fun! More than anything though it meant SO MUCH to me to have the turn out we did with guests!!! Being my third baby I didn’t expect many people to come and being a family shower I also thought not many would show up since I’m not a blood relative to any of them.
I was so, so happy to be so wrong 🙂 It made me feel so loved and so accepted into this family to see how many people took time out of their day to come by! I’m truly so, so, SO blessed 🙂
Morgan and Katie…Morgan is Zach’s first cousin (her dad is full siblings with Mrs. Charlotte) and Katie recently married Morgan’s brother so now she’s a cousin too (even smaller world…Katie’s maiden name is Colson…her brother is married to Lindsay from Captured by Colson so I mean that makes me and Lindsay kinda related, right?!?!)
Aunt Myrle is Mema’s sister so she’s Mrs. Charlotte’s aunt!

I think another favorite moment of mine about this shower was after the shower ended! Aunt Debby and Gabi stayed for a good while and we all just visited.
I really adore Aunt Debby and Gabi too! I wish my life was a little more flexible so I could spend more time with them more often! I truly always enjoy any time we spend together 🙂

It was SUCH an amazing morning and a great time! Everything turned out so super cute and I truly appreciate Casey and Courtney so much for putting in such thought and effort to really make it special.
