Jump ‘N Jacks

Valdosta really is a good place to raise a family, we may be a little college/military town but we’re growing and starting to have a lot more to do for fun! Jump N’ Jacks just opened a couple months ago and it’s a great concept – you pay a flat fee ($5 per kid, adults are free) then you spend as long as you’d like enjoying their many jump houses. It’s located in a warehouse and has a great set up. They have jump houses that are only for kids under 3 so they can play safely away from the older, often rougher, kids. There is a baby section filled with bouncers, jumpers and toys for the kids too young for the jump houses. Plenty of seating for the parents to keep a watchful eye (as well as free wifi!). And it is very clean with well enforced rules. The only downside was that they don’t allow outside food or drink (we got by with it…this time anyway…) and that they don’t open very early. For parents of napping toddlers the opening time would ideally be 9, not 11! For the summer season they are opening at 10 but I’m hoping they will do well enough to keep that opening time year round.

Right when we got there Kye took off to this HUGE “big kid” climbing/slide thing. At first I tried to get him down then I was just really amazed at how well he climbed up it on his own! He enjoyed all the older kid bounce houses more than the ones meant for his age group. There was only one bounce house I didn’t feel comfortable with, it was one where all the activity parts were out of sight and an older kid even got stuck back there. Luckily Robyn realized the kid was trapped and got him some help – who knows how long he’d been back there and I didn’t like Kye going in that one AT ALL.

Kye loved all the sliding!

The kids had a GREAT time and I highly recommend a visit to Jump ‘N Jacks! We’d totally be down for another visit anytime someone wants to go 🙂

Looks like fun!!! Wish there was something like that around here…. Added plus that when baby's born there are activites to entertain him/her while Kye plays!

We would totally go with you if we were there! My daughter saw your pictures and asked if you were at Pump it Up, which is our version of Jump n Jacks. Lots of fun! And totally worth the $5 admission. Hope you (Kye) get to go again soon!
