Little Leaf Art Studio

I met Autumn through Crissy several years ago. She has been in the delivery room with me with both of my babies and does SUCH an amazing job with her photography skills πŸ˜‰ She is one of those naturally talented people and I envy her in that. She has such a creative mind! I like have to use Pinterest to come up with ideas and even then my junk never turns out how it looks online haha.

Autumn was actually Kye’s teacher at school last year and he LOVES her. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in the classroom and I’m so thankful she was his teacher and hope she’s also Brittlynn’s one day too πŸ™‚ She has recently opened up an art studio for kids at her home! I seriously admire people SO MUCH who have dreams and set out to make them a reality. It is so inspiring!!!! She has such a gift with art and with teaching and this combines two things she loves!!!

She is offering art classes to children of all ages for only $10 per class and that includes all their supplies. Um…awesome deal!!! I was SUPER excited for Kye to attend his first class. He’s been asking ALL THE TIME about going to swim at Miss Margie’s (Tiny Bubbles) and I want to wait for his lessons until Britt has hers so we can just go up there ONE time. I keep putting him off but feel bad about it as it’s something he loves and I think it’s great for him to have activities to be involved in. When I saw she was offering these classes I jumped at the first one that fit into our schedule. I KNEW Kye would LOVE it and that it would help him wait out the swimming a little longer πŸ˜‰

I know Autumn very well and Robyn took Lorelai up there that same day to attend the class with Kye and she was going to stay during the class. I was very comfortable with leaving Kye as I KNEW Brittlynn would be a huge distraction. He didn’t mind one bit that I left and it gave Britt and I time to run to Steel’s for their annual Wishlist Event πŸ˜‰ It’s one event I NEVER miss!!! We got a little girly jewelry time in before we went back to see all the wonderful creations Kye came up with πŸ˜‰

As expected, Kye had a BLAST!!! Autumn took a lot of pictures then I took some when I got there so this is kinda picture overload but yall know that’s never stopped me before πŸ˜‰ They used all different kinds of things to paint. Brushes, straws, string, all kinds of different things and looked at how it changed the way the paint looked on the paper!

Kye’s favorite was the painting then blowing on the paint through a straw technique πŸ˜‰

Brittlynn was all over the place, as expected!

SO proud of his work!

Another favorite was making butterflies by folding the paper in half

Lorelai

Love the tongue sticking out while he’s concentrating!

I loved looking at all the art around the studio from other students

Our butterflies πŸ˜‰

I had to DRAG Kye away from there. He could have stayed FOREVER with Mrs Autumn painting and painting and painting. He had a BLAST and it was so nice to give him something fun to do outside of the home. If you are local then I HIGHLY recommend having your kids attend a class at Little Leaf Art Studio. She offers many different classes for different age groups and they are small class sizes where your child really does get a LOT of individualized attention. I think she also has special classes for home school families which I know is really becoming a popular trend lately! She focuses on different art lessons each class so we FOR SURE plan to have Kye attend more classes in the future!!! You can visit the Little Leaf Art Studio facebook page HERE for more info!

Thank you again Autumn for such an awesome experience!
