Tess turned 20 months old on March 31st! As usual I’m using What to Expect the Toddler Years to look at where Tess compares with other toddlers her age.
I’m SUPER pumped about the pics for this post! My mom not only kept a TON of my toys and clothes from childhood…but she also took a TON of pics of me wearing the clothes. I LOVE doing recreation pictures with the girls! I feel bad I didn’t see this stuff when Britt was the size where I could have taken some of her. It’s been a good lesson to me b/c I’m SO thankful Mom kept so much, but I think she also kept too much. I’m hoping I can limit what I keep of my kids stuff to just 1-2 special outfits in each size. We’ll see though b/c I tend to get pretty sentimental about stuff 😉
How did our parents get us in and out of these things? SO MANY BUTTONS!
At 20 months old Tess can do all the things a toddler her age should be able to do including:
- use an object in imitation
- use a spoon/fork
Tess can also do all the things a 20 month old may possibly be able to do including:
- combine words
- identify one picture by naming
- name 6 body parts
- throw a ball overhand
- speak and be understood half the time
- use 50+ single words
Tess can also do all of the things a toddler her age may even be able to do including:
- identify four pictures by pointing
- build a tower of 6 cubes
