I’m back to Flashback Fridays 🙂 I really really love doing this and WANT to keep it a weekly thing…it can be tough to take the time to find/scan/download all the pics but I know it’s worth it 🙂
This week I’m flashing back to part of our engagement photos. We used Javon Longieliere for our wedding photography and, you’ve heard me say it before, we are SO thankful we did. SO many of my friends regret who they chose for their wedding photographer…we have NEVER regretted our choice and STILL love our images so much! It’s been almost 6 years now but I don’t feel any of our stuff is “dated” looking. He does timeless work and I love it!!!
For our first engagement session Javon called us at like 9 pm the night before we were set to do it and said he had a crazy idea to get up super early and drive to St Augustine to catch the sun coming up. Since our wedding was actually going to be at sunrise too we LOVED the idea!!! St. Augustine was a special place for us and is “our town” so we were excited to have some of our engagement pictures taken there. We told Javon that we were down for anything and it was SUCH a fun day!!!
We hit the beach right away and the sky is SO beautiful in all of these 🙂
I CANNOT get over how much we’ve changed in 6 years!!!
I have this one framed in our hallway now 🙂
One of these we had made into magnets and sent out for our save the date…I don’t remember which one though!
Seriously my crack was in so many of them haha priceless!
After the beach we got some breakfast and I re-fixed my hair at McDonald’s 🙂 We changed clothes and went to Old Town to get some pictures there. I LOVE that Javon takes SO MANY images. Seriously…we have like over 2,000 just of our engagements! It gives so many options to choose from and I think now that time has passed I appreciate some of them that I may not have appreciated as much at the time. The candid ones of us laughing together are my favorites 🙂
My husband is a stud! He was then, and still is 😉
We used this picture for our wedding RSVPs…we made them into postcards and people mailed them back to us 🙂
I also have this one framed in the hallway!
We might have gotten kicked out for taking this one hehe 😉 such rule breakers!
By noonish it was getting HOT and we were ready to cool off. We headed to the beach and took some pictures IN the water…who wants to see those next week? 😉
Thanks again to Javon for giving us so many amazing photos that we truly will cherish forever!!! Anyone have any favorites???
