Britt Monthly Summary: March 2017

The month of March could have easily been called the month of Britt and Mommy time! We had a BUSY month and a LOT of special moments together!

All of my kids have LOVED Wacky Wednesdays at the preschool! Hard to believe it was already time for Britt’s last one.

I’ve been known to get pretty into it and the staff kinda expects it of me now ha!

Love having Casey as a school mom too now!

Casey and I were the most “Wacky” of all the moms so we had to get up on stage and lead the entire Chapel (whole school) in song. Duh, it was amazing ğŸ˜‰

Britt also had her Muffins with Mom this month. Last year I was in Cali with Z and missed it which broke my HEART so I was super, super happy to be able to attend this year with her!

Britt is VERY into us matching. I know I need to bite the bullet and purchase some mother-daughter matching clothes for us but, man, they are so pricey and usually not my style. I had a plain black tunic I paired with a fancy necklace and thought we matched pretty close! She was THRILLED.

All of the moms were treated to such a special morning! They had fancy tables set up with all the goodies our kids made for us 🙂

Always my FAVORITE part of Muffins with Mom 🙂

We did a little craft together (#1 Mom keychain)

And had fun in the photo booth!

Can you even? 😉

We had a wonderful time together. Britt SHINES with one on one time and really just was so proud to have me with her at school. It was so sweet and I will be SO SAD when all my Muffins with Mom days come to an end!

I got to visit Chapel again on another Wednesday to hear Britt’s class sing and for her to get to say her favorite memory of Chapel from this year:

Song

Fav Thing

After Chapel we had a field trip to CICI’s!

This makes me laugh b/c sometimes my smile struggles and I make this EXACT face haha

YUM!

We love us some CiCi’s. So cheap and have you HAD those cinnamon rolls?!?!

Even though we had a good bit of quality time together this month, every girl knows you can never have too much girl time 😉 So we had a coffee and cake pops date!

Sweetest thing EVER!

I love how we can just sit and talk and enjoy each other!

(and I love that she still thinks hot choc is “coffee”)

We also attended a baby shower this month for Baby Baylor (and Mama Morgan). It was more great girl time and Britt loves to attend these types of events. She loves getting dressed up and helping the mommy-to-be with her gifts. Britt also has a new love for decor that I didn’t know she was interested in! The shower was hosted by Julie and was at her beautiful new home. Britt was ALL about it!

Spring school pics! This girl is growing up FAST

I love when I can spy on her on the playground from the car pick up line 😉

She loves looking over her school work each day…especially because she has gotten a good behavior sticker EVERY day this ENTIRE year so far!

One of her reading books this month had a great title 😉

Check out that great handwriting!

Big girl status! She loves getting to pick out her own outfits 🙂

Even though in SO MANY ways Britt is VERY ready for kindergarten I’m worried about how she will do without naps. She still sleeps from 1-430ish every single day. She is my sleep loving girl!

Britt finished out swim this month! She is SUCH a strong swimmer. I think our plan is to work with her over the summer then discuss if she’d like to switch over to competitive swim rather than gymnastics. We’ll see!

Swim may be her “sport” but she just LOVES gymnastics so much so, of course, we’ll stick with it if that’s what she’d rather do!

Britt is also in a big “art” stage right now. She’s all about crafts and coloring!

Sometimes the end results are a little freaky haha

She is loving playing Clue Jr! She is my partner and does a great job keeping track of everything so we can solve the case!

She may be 5. She may be an awesome reader. But she is THE messiest eater!

When she first got her American Girl Doll she was ALL about her but lately Samantha has been “sleeping” all the time. She pulled her out a bit this month though and dressed her in some of Britt’s baby dresses! SO cute!

I also found this jacket that was MINE as a toddler that I’d had packed away and was double surprised to find a note from my mom in the pocket. 🙂

And I found my tooth fairy pillow from childhood too! Britt was thrilled b/c now she’s ready whenever she does lose that first tooth. I had this in my room growing up and it’s the reason why I wanted to name my future children Peanut Butter and Jelly hahaha

Britt loved helping go through baby boy things for Tab!

She is SUCH a good big sister and I can’t wait to see her with a baby!

Love this girl with ALL of my HEART!
