It’s worked out where our kids ages are pretty close to perfectly timed for family photos 😉 Britt’s 3 month pics were the same time that we needed to do Kye’s 3 year pics (remember?) and Tess’s 3 month pics also worked out to be the same time that we needed to do Britt’s 3 year ones!
I LOVE the relationship we have with Lindsay from Captured By Colson. It’s such a relaxed and easy-going vibe. She never, ever makes us feel rushed in any way! We are able to have fun and be ourselves which results in some awesome pics! I actually nursed Tess in the car while the big kids took their pics and then brought Tess over to take hers. It worked out great and I am pretty much obsessed with the pics she captured of our babies!!!
Since I did love so many, I’m splitting it up into two posts…today’s is the individual shots of the kids! Even though the reason for the shoot was to get pics of Britt turning 3 and of Tess at 3 months old…Lindsay is always down to take lots of photos of everyone. Y’all know my motto is the more photos the merrier 🙂
We started with Kye because we all know he’s a PRO at the photos 😉 His good example would help Britt do a good job when it was her turn 🙂 He is SO grown up now and is just becoming more and more handsome!

Britt is a naturally beautiful child. I wish all of you could see her in person…I’m not just saying it b/c she’s my kid, but she is just very, very cute. However, she’s not that photogenic. Poor girl just doesn’t have her “camera smile” down yet! I was shocked when I saw these images and had several great ones of Britt to choose from for our Christmas cards! These will be photos I forever cherish!

The time of day for our session worked out great. It was after Tess’s morning nap and I was able to nurse her right before she had her turn. I know that a well rested and full baby makes for a happier baby. She was SO easy-going. I always have thought she’d a cute baby, but seeing these pictures of her crystal clear skin just made me think she should totally be a baby doll model 😉

I already have several of these hanging up around my house (and finally gave Tess a proper photo on my blog sidebar!) 🙂 Every session we do with Lindsay is better than the one prior…I feel like I’m always saying “these are my favorites yet!” But, really, these are my favorite pics ever!
