St Augustine Trip: Putt-Putt and Beach

We have several “must do” items on our yearly trip to St. Augustine and going to play putt-putt is one of them. A great thing about our condo this year was that it was super close to the putt-putt course. We decided to go first thing when they opened and planned on doing lunch once we were finished.

We headed there as soon as Tess woke from her morning nap. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the situation as it was our first putt-putt experience with three children. We usually didn’t play the full course with Kye until he was a little older. And Britt has a history of making putt putt outings a little difficult (I’ve had to leave the course early with her pretty much every year). This year was FLAWLESS though. Yes, it was mega hot but BOTH kids had FUN and Tess did AMAZING. I’m always surprised by how even tempered she is and how smoothly she handles everything we throw her way. You’d think by now I’d be used to her easy-going personality! I was VERY proud of Britt and how she legit played this time and didn’t hardly complain at all. It made the whole experience so much more fun that our entire family enjoyed themselves!

Kye is SO serious about it and it’s funny to see him get into it!

Always gotta throw up the #1 finger for those hole in ones!

Britt’s favorire thing: alligator float in the water haha

My Putt-Putt Princess 🙂

Yes, another hole in one 🙂

Britt got a hole in one too!

(Poor Kye didn’t get one!)

Family tunnel pic!

Pro-dad on the stairs haha

And yes, he def kept score!

After we were all SO THIRSY and SO HOT and decided we needed a little treat 🙂 Slushies for the win! We enjoyed a nice shady spot and our cool treat before heading back for lunch!

Rehashing the game 😉

Kye napped in our bed during the week but usually didn’t sleep and when Tess woke up (Britt is always our last to wake) we had some cuddle time with them both in our bed. Kye loves to play peek-a-boo with her!

Katie had invited us to come hang out with them at “their beach” that afternoon. We got to get some beach time and together time in before it got cold and rainy!

Love me some Hitchcock girls!

We did an awesome drip castle!

Tess’s favorite thing this trip was putting toys into her buckets, dumping them out, and putting them back in.

Love my family and our time together!

Dinner on the beach 🙂

Freeeeezing babies

The rain made us all chilly and some nice warm baths were much needed. I LOVE that Tess and Britt are starting to play together in the bathtub. Such sweet sisters 🙂

I’m so glad we went putt-putting earlier in the day to avoid the rain and that we were still able to get some time in at the beach with our sweet friends! Since the kids had a picnic dinner on the beach, Zach and I had a great date night! He picked up some burgers at a local place (Hurricane Wings if you are looking for suggestions) and we watched Parks and Rec. We are finishing it up and watched season 6 on this trip. We have also started to watch How I Met Your Mother since SO MANY people have recommended it to us. We just aren’t fans. I want to like it but we just don’t like it. It’s no where close to The Office or Parks and Rec for us! Hopefully it gets better!
