Fun Times At Gramma’s!

When we went to Mom’s for Thanksgiving we planned on being there for 5 days! A pretty long trip! Speaking of long trip, Melbourne is starting to feel much further away than it used to. Kye used to be a little angel in the car and now he gets pretty fussy, and I get pretty annoyed about it! This time we rigged up the portable dvd player and let him watch his first non-your baby can read movie! It was Jonah from Veggie Tales! He really liked it and I liked a more peaceful ride 🙂

I told Zach to not worry about Kye one bit…I took care of him the whole time so Zach could work on Mom’s bathroom. She’s totally redoing it! Very exciting, but also a lot of work. Thankfully I have one handy husband!

While Mom and Zach spent their time working and running back and forth to Home Depot, I spent my time with Mr. Kye! We had a lot of fun together! Here are some pictures from our fun long weekend!

He looooved Mom’s glass coffee table!

so smart of me to bring the laugh and learn table!

got a lot of practice drinking from an (empty) big boy cup

crawled by himself onto Nana’s cart! too cute!

since we weren’t at home we were a little limited on what we could do, the dog crates provided some entertainment!

Another fun thing was letting the dogs in the back yard and watching Kye try to play with them through the glass doors! Here’s a video of it. He LOVES his doggies!

Mom and Zach had to take a couple breaks and I was glad for that! We went to Longdoggers for Kye’s first time and met up with my Uncle’s fam while they were in town from California!

and of course we had to take one more break to watch our Seminoles get murdered by Tebow 🙁 And yes, we let Kye watch a little of the game with us. Only two drives but he enjoyed it!

Kye seems like he is getting more hair. This was the hardest age for Stevie, she was always so frustrated b/c she couldn't walk and wanted to SO badly, she couldn't talk and wanted to sooo badly, and she was not a good teether. If you can handle this age you can handle anything 🙂

Jonah is LL's FAVORITE! We have another veggie-tales, but she's not nearly as interested. I love the pic of Kye watching football. 🙂
