Britt’s 4th Birthday Party!

Britt was SO excited for her birthday. She talked it about, literally, all year (and as soon as it ended she started talking about her next birthday as well!). She loves Mary Poppins and debated between having an alligator party or a Mary Poppins one. Can I just say I’m so relieved that she went the Mary Poppins route?!?! This Seminole mama would have had a tough time planning a party revolved around gators πŸ˜‰

Britt enjoys themes (she gets it honest) and loved every element of her outfit for her party. She rocked it! She was a great party hostess and was so sweet and appreciative of everyone who came and the gifts she received. The more parties I host, the more relaxed I become and this party was straight chill mode. The weather was perfect so we had fun just visiting and playing outside and enjoying each other!

She’s practically perfect in every way πŸ™‚

Kye had to dress in theme too, of course!

Bert!

Sweet cousins! We missed Carter (and Casey and Jordan) as they were in Colorado skiing. It all worked out though because they had Britt spend the weekend with them the following weekend and treated her like a princess (more to come in a future post!)

Can’t have a party without the Megows πŸ˜‰

We don’t typically invite friends from school to our parties (we already have a tough time cutting down the list of people to invite with all our family and friends!) but it works out great when school friends are also family πŸ™‚ Kaden is in Britt’s class and is also Aunt Cheryl’s nephew!

These two πŸ˜‰

Mema!

Everyone got food and made themselves at home. Majority of the party was out in the backyard and the kids had a BLAST playing on the playground and with the musical instruments!

Those that wanted to also came inside to put together kite bookmarks!

This cracks me up haha Olive looks thrilled

Haha she wasn’t happy that she accidentally put the stickers on the top of the kite instead of the tail πŸ˜‰

It was so fun having Maggie Grace and little sister Emma at the party! Maggie Grace is Britt’s best friend and church buddy!

The party got crunk when it was time for the spoonful of sugar relay πŸ™‚ Anytime Zach and Seth get together things are bound to get silly! They took over the reigns of this activity and it was a fight to the finish to see which team would win!

Always sticks out his tongue when concentrating!

I love how Aubrey wears a smile on her face at all times! She’s got such a great personality!

And Britt had her mouth open whenever she’s concentrating πŸ™‚

Some cheating mayyyy have been involved

What do you do when your kid starts licking pure sugar off a plate?

Take a video of it, of course haha

We decided to move the cupcakes and presents outside to continue to enjoy the beautiful day!

Here’s the video of us singing Happy Birthday to Britt

(Sidenote: love how my husband totally missed her actually blowing out the candle haha)

Neela kept us all entertained singing Happy Birthday over and over again πŸ™‚

I’m not big on the present opening portion of the party but this time it was perfect! We were outside so everyone could spread out and I didn’t feel so claustrophobic. Majority of the kids kept right on playing and having fun which was great too! Britt was SO SWEET and asked for her Big Papa to help her open πŸ™‚

Britt has THE best reactions to presents. She truly is excited about each gift and has the best expressions! She’s so appreciative and it makes giving her gifts even more fun πŸ™‚

Sweet Colt bought her a little ring at his school store!

Aunt Katie never disappoints!

So Sweet πŸ™‚

Aunt Courtney modeling the gifts for the crowd!

Zach took over on camera duties…haha

I’m surprised Mr Rusty didn’t tell Seth to go mow the grass πŸ™‚

As you can tell, it was a super chill party. All the kids had a GREAT time and Britt was in Heaven in her Mary Poppins outfit and enjoyed all her special treats along with listening to her favorite songs with all of her friends and family! Thank you to everyone who helped make it a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day!

I like to always write down who attended the kids parties as it’ll be nice for them to know when they are older: Big Papa, G-Mama, Mema, Aunt Cheryl, Kaden, Aunt Courtney, Uncle Brad, Colt, Payton, Robyn, Matt, Cooper, Lorelei, Kori, Michael, Aubrey, Mary Allen, Seth, Stevie, Neela, Titus, Olive, Ashley, Chris, Maggie Grace, Emma, Aunt Katie, and of course Mommy, Daddy, Kye and Tess! Big crowd celebrating our special 4 year old girl!
