Kye's 5th Birthday Letter From Daddy

Here is Zach’s letter to Kye and the pictures of them together from this past year! Daddy doesn’t write quite as much as Mommy does for the letters so his post is pretty picture heavy 😉

Kye,

I cannot believe you are 5 years old. It
seems like just yesterday I was giving a huge fist pump when I found out you
were a boy. The love I have for you has grown by leaps and bounds even though I
thought it impossible to love you more than I did.

I love
watching you take care of mommy and Brittlynn. You love them so much and it
shows. I know if something ever happened to me that you would take care of them
just like I do. I hope one day you will understand how proud I am to be your
daddy. You make me so proud every single day.

Your loving
heart is more than I thought possible in a 5 year old. You also say the
sweetest prayers. Most of all you love the lord. You care about others loving
the lord as well.

I hope one day you can look back and
understand how much I love you. I know I am hard on you the same way my big
papa was hard on me. I now realize how vital that was to becoming who I am
today. I also realize how much love my parents had to have to raise me like
they did. I hope you will say the same to your children one day.

I can’t wait
to see what year 6 brings. I know you will grow and become an even bigger boy.
I know you will grow in Christ as well. I am also very excited for the memories
we will make together.
