Ashley and I met in college and I hosted her baby shower for her son, Preston a few years ago. It’s SO funny b/c I was pregnant with Britt when I hosted it (along with Crissy) but no one knew yet…and this time around I helped host her recent baby shower and I was already pregnant with Leo but no one knew yet either!!!
Ashley is due this Saturday with her precious little girl! I LOVE that they are keeping the name a secret (I mean we all know I’d love it more if the gender was a secret too but I’ll take what I can get!) and can’t wait to see her newest blessing!!!
The shower was held at a neighbor of mine’s house whom I’d actually never met until that day. Rachel and Kimberly were the co-hosts and I enjoyed meeting them both! It was decorated so pretty and it was a nice time together!

I contributed some food items and also made the diaper cake. I kept it simple because I knew that was kinda the vibe of the shower: simple and elegant. I didn’t know any of the decorations that Rachel planned to use but the diaper cake matched perfectly!!! Score 🙂

This was hilarious. Ashley’s mother in law and a friend of hers were sitting beside me on a couch and were having some i-phone lessons throughout the morning haha.

Casey was also pregnant and hadn’t officially announced it yet! We actually told Casey and Jordan our news the next day and she also announced her pregnancy the next day too!

It was a really lovely morning and I think Ashley had a great time with everyone! I am hardcore about ALL babies being treated like a “first” baby. I mean I had like a million showers when I was pregnant with Kye! I know with the first baby you need more stuff…but it’s important to have showers for future babies too. They need pics to have in their baby book and memories to be able to share with you someday ya know? I’m so glad I was able to help make it happen for Ashley’s baby girl!!!
