Easter Fun!

This year we celebrated Easter at Mema’s house. Since Thanksgiving did not go very well with Britt’s nap Zach and I were SUPER concerned about it. We are blessed with a family who, by now, is fully supportive of our kids napping schedules. It was a BEAUTIFUL day so we decided to let Britt nap inside while the rest of us (the older three kids skipping naps) ate a lunch outside and played until she woke up then had the egg hunt. It really worked out PERFECTLY and we all had a wonderful time!!!

I was pretty proud of how my Peep Cake turned out ๐Ÿ™‚

Casey, Courtney and Jolee made Easter colored deviled eggs!

And I brought along some of the left over Chocolate Egg Nests

Mrs. Charlotte got each of the kids a little something for Easter ๐Ÿ™‚

Kye got a book and Zach was so sweet reading to all the kids!

Casey and I were just in need of some attention haha

Praying!

Creating ways to have fun to pass the time haha

“Who is ready to hunt eggs???” Everyone: “MEEEE!”

Zach was yet again in charge of the video camera. I have to say that his abilities with a photo taking camera have greatly improved through the years….but his video taping? I think they have kinda gone downhill. It’s like he hits record then doesn’t really look through the camera ever? Haha. I’m just thankful he doesn’t mind doing it b/c DUH I’m always the one wanting to take pictures ๐Ÿ˜‰ You can see all the riveting egg hunt excitement in another Zach Parker Production here!

Britt got a head start, she was crunk!

One of my favorite pictures of her ever!

They are off and running!

Mema and Britt had fun hunting together!

Big Papa is her favorite and I think he kinda has a soft spot for his Britt Britt too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Zach, of course, had to count everyone’s eggs to see who won!

The afternoon couldn’t have worked out better! We all had such a great time together and the kids had a blast getting to hunt for eggs. I love that both of our kids are old enough to REALLY enjoy activities now. These are such fun ages. I enjoy getting to watch them have fun rather than having to be carrying one of them around the whole time ๐Ÿ˜‰
